What is Intelligex?
Intelligex has a proprietary blend of ingredients in its stack, and it is not a not bad start for something you should be supplementing, we are big fans of Bacopa, ALCAR, and Magnesium. However we don't like the fact that this supplement offers a free trial but charges you a large fee afterwards if not cancelled within a week. Additionally we are not sure about the lab these elements originate from and if the quality is present as we have not lab tested their products and no one has really hard of "Focus Nutra". Benefits of Intelligex
The creators claim it could benefit those with Alzheimer’s and that the effects are not immediate and they may notice them in 2 weeks, this is counter to Lumonol where because of noopept the results are noticeable right away while providing the raw ingredients for the supplement to be neuroprotective as well over the long term.
It is touted as a cognitive enhancer and it attempts to become one by including many ingredients that lead to it, but it seems like it provides a instant energetic high via Caffeine, and taurine (same as found in energy drink but at a lower dose) and it adds ALCAR for a better mood, while hoping the Bacopa builds up over the 2 weeks in the users system to increase BNDF and helps the user's overall health as an adaptogenic. DMAE too is added as a source of choline (chemical for neuronal communication in the brain), although not the best source, we recommend either Alpha GPC or even the raw source as Choline Bitartrate.
Conclusion: Is it a 'Scam'?
At a price of 60 capsules for $100, it most certainly seems that way given that they have also decided to keep their blend private and do not state if their ingredients have been tested and without knowing if the right dosage of their 'generally' weak supplements is, we can't recommend this and instead recommend Lumonol (see link to buy it below).
Another alternative that we recommend that is synthetic and is 'guaranteed' to make a difference is Adrafinil, it is not regulated closely in the US and its a precursor to Modafinil which is sold for up to $30 a pill with over 20 years of research behind it. You may learn more about it here if that is the avenue you would like to pursue. It will help you focus and stay up for up to 12 hours, and known to increase motivation as well, and for some to reduce appetite, a tri-fecta win for many.
