Chrysin Review

Chrysin is a Bioflavanoids compound that can be found in propolis and bee honey. It serves to be a testosterone boosting plant although further researches still have to be conducted. However, its mechanism of action supporting the previous claim involves by sensitizing the testicles to produce more testosterone while inhibiting the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. This is done by injecting Chrysin into the testicles or by oral supplementation at higher dosages. On the other hand, Chrysin appears to be poorly absorbed despite it being readily available to be metabolized. Some researches are looking at Chrysin now as being a potential preventive agent for colon cancer however, further clinical studies should still be conducted.
It is also known as Propolis, Honey extract, Passiflora caerulea Linn.
